Eric, a United States Air Force veteran, has spent over twenty years in distinguished leadership roles in human capital, learning and development, training, and security operations within high-stakes environments. He leverages his extensive experience to develop future leaders through his professional consulting services and his dedication to academia and human development. In addition to his military career, Eric has been an educator for over 17 years and currently serves as an Adjunct Communications Professor at the University of Alaska Fairbanks. He is also actively advancing his expertise by pursuing a doctoral degree in Educational Leadership, focusing on spearheading transformative educational and learning initiatives.
Raised in Carteret, New Jersey, Eric is the son of Eric Bergery Sr., an Afro-Cuban immigrant who arrived in the United States in 1967, and Emma Bergery, of Puerto Rican and Irish descent, who was born in Manhattan's Hell’s Kitchen. After 20 years of dedicated service, Eric retired from the United States Air Force in May 2024. His distinguished career culminated at the Pentagon, marking the end of a notable chapter in his life. Throughout his military career, he was stationed in South Korea, Italy, New Jersey, California, Maryland, and Washington D.C., with multiple deployments to Iraq and Afghanistan in support of Operations IRAQI FREEDOM and ENDURING FREEDOM.
